Sitter failed to update as requested, failed to report serious issues with my pet until after we returned 2 weeks later. Now they have also cancelled another stay leaving me in the lurch. The concept is a great idea but in reality this company has been a nightmare to deal with.

I am employed by this company. They are very professional and conscientious about the best experience for customers and employees.

We used Homesitters a number of times and were very impressed with the service. However, you can tell a lot about a company when a problem arises and unfortunately an instance of petty theft was not investigated by the company effectively (just talking "at length" with the sitter and a quick 5 minute phone call to me is hardly sufficient). I can only hope that those sitters are no longer used and that the female sitter concerned has received professional help for her problem.
