Protec has been a big name in the fire and security industry for over 50 years. From its formation in 1968, it has expanded and developed with the times, making it the solid and established brand it is today. Scroll down to see some of the defining moments in Protec's history. The business was then known as 'Protec Fire Alarms' and operated as an installer of fire alarm systems. Through forming an association with Mr J B Merrin, a partnership developed, which then became 'R M Protec Fire Detection {Nelson} Limited'.
