Used this company from a local business recommendation on our business park. Recently installed a door entry system for us, from the initial phone call through to the install, all the members of staff were helpful and polite. Reasonably priced and quality product. The surveyor was on time and polite and helpful, everything was explained and different quotes were provided to suite us which was helpful The fitter was quick, efficient and tidy. Highly recommend.

I have a limited understanding of all things that tradesmen do at my home and therefore I am always apprehensive when they are working. I was pleasantly surprised at by the work carried out by ESS, any mess was cleaned, and I felt myself and my home were treated with respect. The alarm system has proved to be reliable and gives the piece of mind I was looking for. I am happy to recommend ESS

We were very impressed with Essex Security, our old system was just that, old!, so we asked them to provide a cost for an updated system The engineer was able to keep the old system going for a week while we waited for the new one. The new system has lots of options that the original never had. Excellent, would recommend

We took over from the previous owner who had this system in the property The system panel is not even legible for starters from the first day and there was no option to replace it After the first year we switched companies and left this system in place since we had got upgraded systems to replace this without disturbing the ess if we were to move on and take the new system with us The alarm of the ess still goes off on its own to our dismay and annoyance The company says they can't send an engineer out since we are not active customers.

Will call them again failing which we will report to the ombudsmen and have an electrician come and detach the ess fittings and trash it. Most disappointed by the attitude of the company.

After moving home we thought we needed to upgrade the system that the previous occupiers had left. When Steve from ESS came along his advice was to retain what we had as it was a perfectly good system and ESS could continue to maintain it and it would be the more cost effective. This saved us a significant amount.

Were recommended by my friends and I would happily recommend to my other friends. I had a new system fitted for my elderly mother. Competent and professional.

I had an alarm fitted by this company five years ago. The battery was showing as not charged meaning I was unable to set my alarm. I contacted ESS two days running to explain the problem and request for an engineer call out. Despite the fact that on both occasions I was promised that the Service Department would contact me to arrange a visit, on the second day I asked if the phone call would be that day and was assured that it would be.

Well they didn't bother to call so I used another company Guard Systems who were most helpful, not alone did they return my call on the same day but an engineer visited on that day and resolved the problem. I would never use ESS again absolute rubbish customer service.

They have fitted 2 alarm systems for me at home. Great company - excellent work and great customer service.
