Intruder Alarms
Our intruder alarm systems provide comprehensive property protection through advanced detection technology. Designed for both residential and commercial premises, these systems feature audible warnings, remote monitoring options, and integration with other security measures. Professional installation ensures optimal coverage while minimising false alarms through intelligent sensor placement.
CCTV Surveillance
We install high-resolution CCTV systems with remote access capabilities for real-time monitoring. Our solutions include HD cameras, digital recording systems, and cloud storage options. Tailored installations ensure complete coverage of critical areas while maintaining aesthetic considerations for both domestic and commercial properties.
Access Control
Our access control solutions manage building entry through keypads, card readers, or biometric systems. Custom configurations support time-based access, visitor management, and integration with existing security infrastructure. Ideal for commercial premises requiring controlled entry points and audit trails.
Voice Evacuation Systems
These life-safety systems provide clear evacuation instructions during emergencies. Fully compliant with fire safety regulations, they feature zoned announcements, automatic activation, and integration with fire alarm systems. Designed for schools, commercial buildings, and public spaces requiring structured evacuation procedures.
Induction Loop Systems
We install audio induction loops to assist hearing aid users in public spaces. These systems transmit clear sound directly to hearing devices, eliminating background noise. Commonly used in schools, council buildings, and heritage sites to improve accessibility for visitors with hearing impairments.

We have used CDS for all of our home security requirements for many years and have always been extremely satisfied with both the quality of the products installed and the excellence of the service provided. Their staff are always very helpful and courteous and their on site engineers really "know their stuff." I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the peace of mind that a professional and reliable security company can provide.

A great service from start to finish. Not only did they beat a price from another security firm, they were considerably cheaper and provided a better quality of security. The staff were particularly helpful whom I dealt with. Top marks to Jordan : Highly recommended!

CDS fitted a burglar alarm at our home about 20+ years ago, it's worked very well. We recently had an extension built and got various quotes to update the system. CDS offered us just what we wanted at a good price. The work was done well and quickly. Thanks to all involved.

CDS installed our alarm when we bought the house four years ago: the wiring had been installed by the previous owner, but nothing more; some firms wouldn't touch it and wanted to redo the whole lot, but CDS were great and agreed to do what we wanted and just install the sensors and alarm etc. We've had no problems at all, CDS comes out every year to do a maintenance check. And during the pandemic they've been brilliant: this morning Jamie wore a mask, kept his distance, avoided touching anything he didn't need to, and asked us if we'd like to do the 'walk test' in front of each sensor to limit how far he needed to come into the house. First rate and highly recommended.

Have recently used CDS to install CCTV to my property. From the initial survey visit by Luke to the installation, CDS have been very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them. They also maintain my house alarm on an annual basis too so are the go to people in Durham whenever I need additional security
