BAC Fire & Security Ltd was started as a provider of Domestic Intruder alarms and originally traded under the name of Bristol Alarm Company. Rapid expansion in the late 1990's along with increased Customer demand created the need to expand the range of services offered. It was at this point that the Company changed name and rebranded as BAC Fire and Security Ltd, the multi-disciplined company that you know today.

On 24 July 2020 a Van (HW69NSF) forced his way into the lane I was driving in. Immediately after I stopped at traffic lights and we were next to each other, the driver was absolutely wild, rolled down his window and was shouting at me for using the horn when he was forcing his way in. I asked him what he was doing that he could hurt us and cause an accident, the driver started laughing and shouting 'what you gonna do about it'.
After this the driver drove recklessly, undertaking other cars. We contacted the company immediately and raised the issue with a manager in the company. The manager seamed understanding and promised to call us after he had spoken to the engineer. Sadly nobody has ever contacted us. For me this shows that they do not care about their engineers behavior.
Personally I used to work in Fire and Security and within the industry trust is essential as engineers know the codes and security systems. If an engineer does not care about other people and behaves aggressively towards the general public how can he possibly do his job in securing their properties and businesses well? How can he care about a client being robbed or his business being lost in flames when he willingly puts other peoples lives in danger and laughs at them?
As can be seen by the some of the other reviews about their engineers behavior I would recommend anybody to look elsewhere before hiring these guys. EDIT: After posting this review I have been contacted by the BAC Fire and Security withing an hour. I was told that our report of the incident got lost in communication due to some people working from home.
After the BAC had investigate the incident and within a week was the driver put into disciplinary process based on evidence. After this case being processed I have to say that Ben R. from the BAC was very understanding and based his investigation on evidence. After emailing with Ben I'm happy to say that the BAC does care about behavior of theirs engineers and the company reputation.

We had our Burglar alarm changed in July. The new one has been great, its very easy to use and even has an App that I can use to set and unset it when I'm out. The whole process was painless even with the social distancing and the engineer was fully equipped with mask and gloves. Having had other tradesman in recently I was surprised how very clean and tidy they were (They left our house spotless!) Good service, thank you

Excellent service and very professional outlet. BAC Security is a family business that takes great care and pride in a job well done. We felt it became unfortunately necessary to set up an alarm on our house a while back, their system was highly recommended and has not disappoint at all. Easy to use, reliable and top quality set. And the best thing is that they really look after you for years to come when the job is done!

BAC Fire and Security are a reliable firm who you know you can pick the phone up to and discuss your options. For me they're big enough to be able to handle our jobs (they look after our sites as far away as Cornwall and Gloucester) yet small enough that you can speak to the same sales person, service person and often get the same engineer handling the work on site.
This continuity allows them to provide a good service that can save time along the way. When dealing with issues on site, unrelated to them I should add, I have even been able to contact senior members of staff on a Saturday on their personal mobiles. Probably not an everyday service but was very valuable in this situation and much appreciated. I think it just shows they go that extra mile.
