FM Electronics was established in 1989 by radio engineers who had a strong pedigree in wireless alarm technology. They applied their technical knowledge to an understanding of the market, and launched a range of unique products targeted initially at the commercial and residential sectors. We remain a highly focused business, designing and manufacturing our full product range in the United Kingdom.We design and manufacture wire-free alarm systems for specialist sectors of the security industry. Our products fall into three categories - mobile alarms for use in situations where protection of property or personnel is needed on a short term basis, fixed systems where long range is required, and interfaces that allow our products to extend the cover of traditional wired product.

The wire-free Smoke Detector identifies the presence of smoke using optical sensing. Upon activation the unit will signal to any FM2000 Mobile Alarm or FM4000 Intruder Alarm/Wireless Interface, providing an audible indication on the Smoke Detector itself and at the Control Unit. Designed to comply with the requirements of PD6662:2004 Grade 2.

A 64 zone alarm controller with safety extra low voltage power supply meeting the requirements for temporary alarm installations applications. Remote antenna option. A battery operated six zone alarm with integral Pager transmitter. Alarms are signalled to the guards pocket pager at a distance of 2 killometers from the alarm panel.
