If you need a job done quickly, to a good standard and can pay their higher rates then Pimlico Plumbers are definitely worth considering. I've had two jobs done by them when my normal tradespeople weren't able to respond in time needed and I was impressed each time. Got a hour timeslot and they came on time. Phones were answered quickly. Full job report after with detailed invoice. Each time they had to go out to get a part but I was asked for my agreement each time (this time is billed).

Following a leaking radiator pipe, I called Pimlico who promptly sent a heating engineer down. It turned out my whole system needed an overhaul, thus Scott and Bryn set to work. They were superb! They were professional, hard-working, knowledgeable, explained everything they were doing, cleaned up thoroughly and on top of that, are really lovely and polite, considerate men.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new boiler, valves, etc. and cannot praise them and Pimlico highly enough for their excellent service! As a follow-up to the above, Jason, the carpenter came and lifted a couple of the stained floor boards and fitted that area of the floor with new boards. The job was very tricky as he had to work around the pipe, but he did a beautiful job and you would never know they were replacement boards. He is highly-skilled. Absolutely thrilled!

Pimlico Plumbers dealt with an emergency water repair at my property and came out the next day to investigate electrical issues. I used Pimlico Plumbers because they had good reviews even though they are expensive. I didn't want to pay twice for a bad plumber or be told parts need replacing which didn't. The engineer came as scheduled and completed work within the allotted time and provided maintenance tips for the future. The sink blockage was fixed and everything was very easy and straightforward. The engineer was very informative, friendly and helpful. I would use them again.

There was nothing particularly wrong with the engineer who attended. My problem is with the way you handle quotations. I simply needed an engineer to see what is the problem and what needs to be done. I knew the fixing or repairing wouldn't be the case in the first appointment. So why not offering a free quotation to the customer? Or at least a better deal than 'min 1 hr 120 + VAT'.

Basically the engineer came and did a quick assessment which took 10 minutes and I got charged 144. I knew this was going to be the case, and I offered to send them detailed photos and explain what the problem was in details beforehand to save some time and money. Obviously they didn't accept it. Honestly, it's very unfair and ridiculous. In addition to that; the engineer told me the work needs to be done would cost at least 3000 -give or take 4k. And I received a quotation email with 8280. I would never ever use your service and would never recommend it to anyone.

Please be very careful before using Pimlico Plumbers. It's well known that they are over-priced, but I was appalled at their pricing. After coming to fix a boiler, they ended up recommending a replacement. They quoted 7k. I had to pay a deposit and they returned the next day to fit the new boiler. They then discovered some new complication and revised the price to 16k.

At that stage I said I needed a second opinion, and I then had the work done by British Gas (including the complication) for less than 6k. So a third of the price. This was a month ago, and despite numerous phone calls and emails to Pimlico, (1) they still want to charge me for their second visit when they revised their fee to 16k, and (2) they have only partially refunded the amount they agree they owe me. Disgraceful.

Pimlico is an absolute scam, please NEVER NEVER use them. The heating engineer who visited my flat for a boiler leak charged me 450 to isolate the leak (via cutting and capping the pipes), and quoted me 1915 to fix the problem (5 hrs labour) plus a 600 part. I reflected that that was quite expensive and decided to call the manufacturer of the boiler instead who fixed my boiler for 300 but they told me they couldn't run functional tests because the pipes connecting the boiler had been cut FOR NO REASON.

They said the boiler could have been isolated and drained without cutting the pipes. So now I have to get someone to re connect the piping which requires soldering. Pimlico therefore conducted unnecessary work which they charged me for, which requires further work for me to get my heating back. Also, the boiler was fixed by the manufacturer in 45 minutes rather than 5 hours.

When I complained to customer service, I've been placed in an endless cycle of calls where they try to shut down me down and tell me I'm wrong. They've asked for a report from the manufacturer which states their work was unnecessary and claim that the TWO engineers who independently said there was no need to cut the pipes are wrong and bad engineers.

To make matters worse, the heating engineer yelled at me on the call telling me how he had 25 years experience and I had no idea what I was talking about. This company is engaging in dishonest practices and does not care about their customer, their objective is to bill as much as they can no matter what the issue is.

Repaired isolation valve coming into our flat. A bit tricky to organise as we needed Hackney Council to turn off the water supply at the same time. The booking agent was very helpful. All went smoothly and our plumber was really great - polite calm and professional. Have used Pimlico for several jobs and they are very reliable - worth the extra cost.

We used Pimlico for the first time today as one of our lights broke and we needed it repaired quickly. The engineer they sent was called Charlotte - she was bang on time, super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Charlotte completed the task quickly and also helped with other bits we asked her to look at. We are very grateful for Charlotte's advice on different issues in the property and as a result, will make sure to request her personally when we use this service as we really liked how she works and treats her clients. We have subsequently also informed our neighbours and friends that if they need anything electrical done, they should call and ask for her! Thank you Charlotte!
