Sorted our spare car key for about a third of the cost of the dealership quote. Came out to us a few miles out of the city and dead friendly. Recommend.

Replaced a Tenement main door lock and cut 34 keys using manufacturer grade blanks (not cheap copies) which were competitively priced and all worked perfectly. Prompt, courteous, service which took one phone-call to arrange. Support your local traders - highly recommended!

The remote locking key fob on our VW T5 went ping. "It happens all the time." Alister came to us, cut new keys and sprinkled magic dust so that all the vehicle electrickery spoke to all the key electrickery. Alister was cheery, friendly, competent and super helpful. Thank you. Is there a tick box for a Six Star rating? Nick and Hilary.

Shop was closed during advertised business hours. I appreciate they may be short staffed, but arriving to a closed shop and having to make alternative plans on the spot is far from ideal.

Brilliant service from Alistair. It's one quick phone call to organise a home visit at a time that suited (for no extra cost). We got a new set of car keys for less than a fifth of the price quoted through the car dealer. Will be using again if needed!

We used Burgh Locksmiths to replace our garage lock, Alistair was very professional and provides excellent value for money, I looked online for locksmiths and most of them have call out charges which isn't the case with Burgh Locksmiths.

Never showed up for appointment made on 22/12/21 at "lunchtime". My review prompted by Google on 28/12 on presumption service had been provided by then but alas it hadn't. I didn't "choose" the timing of review as suggested by owner and don't "think" I had an appointment, the appointment was real and not kept. Wasted 3 hours at property waiting.

Very grateful for intelligent, fast and professional response without which I couldn't have reached the right decison about what to do in a very complex and difficult situation involving a deadlocked rental van. In the end, I didn't even become a paying customer because a better outcome was made possible by having the right advice -- but if this happens again I'll be straight on the phone to you. Your honesty and professionalism has helped me navigate out of a very difficult situation that could easily have got worse. Thank you very very much.

Alistair was a lifesaver, programming two new car key remotes after my son had lost the only key he had for his car. Great service and a genuine, friendly guy. Less than half the price and immeasurably less hassle than going to the car dealer. Couldn't recommend highly enough! Service: Car key programming

Alistair was great. Answered my initial query promptly, turned up exactly when he said he would and managed to sort me out with replacement car keys in 15 minutes at a price that was considerably cheaper than I'd been quoted elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Great! Replacement (duplicate) Volkswagen Key and Remote Fob arranged the next day. Much better than the official VW Dealership in Edinburgh who quoted an extortionate price and said it would take 2 hours, and then 14 days for the key to arrive. Alistair did it in about 15-20 mins at a very competitive price. Key works perfectly. Services: New key fob creation, Car key copying, Car digital & remote key reprogramming

Our son had lost his 2 car keys so a bit of a dilemma. Contacted Alistair at Burgh locks. Extremely helpful and the vehicle was up and running the following day with 2 new keys and remote locking working. This is a first class service and they definitely "do what it says on the tin". Would recommend this company very highly. Only wanted payment on completion.

Amazing quick service, got to me within half an hour of first speaking to him while i had a 3 year old with 2 broken legs with me and no way to get into my car. Top class bloke and would highly recommend. Cheers Alistair

Saved the day, what a service, i called as soon as the shop opened and and the appointment was for the following day 1500. Thats a fast response, however even better when I received a call from Alistair the same day and offered his services in the afternoon. 15 mins after arriving the job was completed. Alistair gained access to our car and produced 2 new cut keys and also cancelled out the lost one. Surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend

I lost my car key, but a call to Alistair had everything sorted within the hour. I couldn't believe how efficiently everything was dealt with, no fuss and I came home from work to find the replacement key on the mat.
