The Dude who works on the door at Edward T Wheadon house is a legend. As you enter the dullest, most depressing building in Guernsey he greets you with a smile. Effortlessly putting you at ease. I went in last week to pay a parking fine in a right sulk he made some quip and snapped me out of it. In these times staff like that are worth their weight in gold. Double his wages today!
