Power-plex was founded in 1994 by Paul Tattersall and Les Geary. The company was set up with the express purpose of developing a range of innovative and quality Power Supplies specifically for use by the electronic security industry. In 1997 Drew Fleming, an accountant, became the third director and shareholder in the business, and took on the role of Admin. Director. The company continued to grow and in 1998 moved into a custom built factory in the Ballymun Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Dublin city.
