When Tom Hayes and the late John Sinclair founded Compco in 1988, they had no idea it would be a 40-million-pound business three decades later. The initial vision was a smaller operation, providing a personable alternative to the four huge operators. They hadn't envisaged becoming a leading UK provider of automatic fire suppression systems.
