With over 40 years in the ID industry, Charles introduced Video ID systems to the UK and launched the first eco-friendly card in 1996. He expanded Databac's operations to Spain in 2002 and continues to drive innovation in smart card technology.
Roy Balcomb
Founder
Co-founder of Databac in 1970, Roy previously established the ID Division of Photo Me International. With experience in the Metropolitan and Kenyan Police Forces, he pioneered Photo ID cards in the UK and developed early data system Hollerith cards.
